1. How billing works here
chartTrigger does not take card payments automatically. When you choose a plan, you send payment by the method shown on your billing page and declare it there; the declaration is recorded as pending and grants nothing on its own. An operator matches it against the funds actually received and confirms it, at which point your subscription period starts, or — if you already had time remaining — extends from the date it would otherwise have expired, so confirming early never costs you days you had already paid for.
2. Cancelling
You may cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancelling stops the subscription from renewing; it does not itself refund the period you are currently in, which runs to its stated end date under Section 3. Rules you have armed are disarmed once your access lapses, and your broker account and its positions are unaffected, since they are held with your broker, not with us.
3. Refunds
Because access is confirmed manually rather than billed automatically, refunds are handled case by case:
- Payment recorded in error — a duplicate, mistyped amount, or a payment confirmed against the wrong plan is corrected or refunded in full once you tell us.
- You have not yet started using the plan — a request made within 14 days of a payment being confirmed, where you have not connected a berth or armed a rule under it, is eligible for a full refund.
- Part-used periods — outside the cases above, we do not refund the unused part of a period you have already started using, in the same way a subscription you cancel mid-month is not pro-rated.
- Service fault — if a fault on our side (not a broker's, and not a rule behaving as you configured it) materially prevented you from using a period you paid for, tell us and we will put it right, by extension or refund at our reasonable discretion.
Approved refunds are returned by the same method you paid with wherever practical, normally within 10 business days of approval.
4. Trials
Where a plan includes a trial period, no payment is taken to start it. If a trial converts to a paid period, ordinary billing and the refund terms above apply from that point.
5. The broker-partner route
Access granted because you funded an account with a partner broker is tied to that broker relationship, not to a cash payment to us, so it is not refundable by us in cash. If you close or withdraw from the partner broker account that access was based on, we may end the access period early once we are made aware. Any dispute about the broker account itself — your deposit, its trading conditions, or a withdrawal — is between you and that broker, not us.
6. Disputes and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first using Section 7 so we can look into it — most issues are a recording error and are fixed faster this way than through a card or bank dispute. Filing a chargeback for a period you used without raising it with us first may result in your access being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
7. Contact
To request a refund or query a charge, use the contact form and choose "Plans and billing", including the date and amount if you have it.
